Oh Boy! FMS38

This card is off to a wonderful friend of mine who welcomed her first grandson this week.  We met as brand new teachers way back in 1971 when we were assigned neighboring classrooms and have been friends ever since. We were something else with our long straight hair, mini skirts and platform shoes..........seems like yesterday............

Hope you join us at Freshly Made Sketches this week!

Linda, ths is darling! Love the fresh color combo and your awesome sketch. The heart border and littler heart accent are such great touches for a baby card. I'm sure your friend will love it! :)

This is adorable! I have had this set for quite a while and still haven't inked it up. But since I am going to have my first grandchild in December, I am betting I will be using it before long!

And if you started teaching in 1971 that means you are just a few years older than me because I graduated high school in 71! Doesn't really seem all that long ago in some ways, but in others it seems like forever!

Oh so sweet...and I love the "memory"....I am right there with ya! In fact, I fell right off the curb in my platform shoes, getting on a bus...talk about embarrassing!

Sweet card Linda! I love the blue and yellow together and that crib is adorable. I'm right there with ya in the 70's - I wish I had more photos of me back then - so funny!

Adorable card Linda! This sketch is fun! 1971 hey? WOW! Sometimes I wonder if I will make it through, all those years of teaching (LOL!) but you are right, we make such good friends with our neighbouring classrooms! I love that you are still friends!
Hugs,
Lesley
